Innu Lessons Credits (2019-2020)
The online language-learning platform was originally developed with first-language (L1) speakers in mind, for literacy training purposes. In 2019-20, building on the previous year’s platform redesign and redevelopment – and thanks to a new grant from the National Research Council Canada (NRC) – the platform was expanded to include second-language (L2) learning content and activities. New modules were created for Dialogues, Personal Narratives, Verb Conjugations, Pronouns, and Thematic Vocabulary (Akua-Nutin). Modules for Stories were enhanced and further expanded.

Additional Assistance
Laura-Kim Mollen-Vachon performed specialized image editing.
Richard Mollen, Judith Mestokosho and Marguerite MacKenzie graciously shared their Innu language expertise.
The platform was tested by stakeholders at universities and in communities: Innu as a second language classes at the Université de Montréal (several levels), Innu teacher training courses in the Innu communities (administered by the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi), Montréal Autochtone, and MAMUK in Quebec City. We are grateful for their contributions.
Students in Yvette Mollen’s Innu language classes also provided invaluable user feedback via questionnaire.

Innu Lessons Credits (2018-2019)
In 2018-19, due to software obsolescence, the entire platform was redesigned and redeveloped thanks to a grant from the National Research Council Canada (NRC). At the same time, numerous improvements were made in terms of both content and user experience.
